Come join us as we recognize and pay tribute to the men and women of our armed forces, past and present on Monday, November 12, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Riverdale Public Safety Building located at 725 W. 138th Street in Riverdale.

Featuring: Children's Choir, Honor Guard Flag Presentation, Veteran Remembrances, Wreath Presentation and cake and coffee.

FAMILY ENRICHMENT LAPSIT PROGRAM
Come Join The Fun!! Sign up to participate in the Family Enrichment Lapsit Program.  Riverdale residents with children ages birth to three and their parents are welcome to join us on the 3rd Friday of each month starting September 21, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at the Riverdale Library located at 208 W. 144th Street in Riverdale (the building will not be open for Library Services).

Registration is required; ask at the front desk. This program is FREE!!! but a great time spent with your child/children!

RIVERDALE SPEAK OUT FORUM
The Riverdale Chamber of Commerce, Riverdale Landlord's Association, and the Housing Authority of Riverdale will be sponsoring a Riverdale Speak Out Forum on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. located at the Thornton Township High School, 15001 Broadway Ave. in Harvey.

If you live in Riverdale, have a business in Riverdale, or pay taxes in Riverdale, come share your thoughts, concerns, recommendations, and solutions.

RIVERDALE PARK SENIOR ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING
The Senior Advisory Committee is established for the purpose of giving a voice to Riverdale seniors and to allow them to participate in the program planning process of the Riverdale Park District. Subsequently, by virtue of membership in the Senior Advisory Committee, Leadership sills and an awareness of social responsibilities are developed.

The meeting will be held at the Riverdale Field House located at 14401 S. Stewart Ave. in Riverdale on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 10:00 a.m.
