"GAINING GROUND" HOSTS BACK TO SCHOOL FAMILY COOK-OUT AND SCHOOL SUPPLY GIVE-AWAY.
The Gaining Ground Organization will host a Back to School Family Cook-Out and School Supply Give-Away on August 30, 2008 from noon until dusk. The event will be held at the Riverdale Park, 13701 S. Employees of Riverdale Public Works Presents "Saving Our Children Fundraiser" on Thursday, July 24, 2008 from 4:00pm - 11:00 pm at the Riverdale Marina located at 13100 S. Halsted in Riverdale, Illinois. Donations are $10.00 and all proceeds will go towards school supplies for Riverdale Elementary School Students!. The Riverdale Park is sponsoring a roller skating trip to Glenwood Roller Rink on Thursday, August 7, 2008 from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. The cost is $8.00 which includes bus fare, admission, skate rental, and a hot dog, chips and a pop.
