3RD ANNUAL RIVERDALE IDOL COMPETITION
The Village of Riverdale and the Ivanhoe Park District presents their 3rd Annual Riverdale Idol Competition. on Friday, May 18, 2012 at 6:00 p.m.
Auditions will be held from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on the following dates:
March 23, 2012 Riverdale Resource Center 13725 S. Wabash
March 30, 2012 Riverdale Resource Center 13725 S. Wabash
April 13, 2012 Ivanhoe Park District 14401 S. Stewart
Competition Categories included:
Signing & Dancing for ages 5 to 21
CASH PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED
Age Groups 5 yrs - 12 yrs and 13 yrs - 21 yrs
Prizes for 5 yrs - 12 yrs : 1st $500 2nd $250 3rd $100
Prices for 13 yrs - 21 yrs : 1st $1,000 2nd $500 3rd $250

JOIN THE ECHO FAMILY ENRICHMENT PROGRAM AND THE RIVERDALE PUBLIC LIBRARY
Beginning Friday, March 16, 2012, teachers from the ECHO Family Enrichment Program will be visiting the Riverdale Library located at 208 W. 144th Street from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm (the 3rd Friday of each month) to conduct a Parent/Child Play group. The group is aimed at creating stronger bonds between parent and child with a focus on learning through play, sharing and books. The program will run through June 2012.
Children ages birth to 3 years old and their parents are invited to participate. Parents are required to remain with their child during the program. The program is FREE, however because space is limited at the Library, preregistration is required.
Please call 708-841-5950 to register and for more information. THE LIBRARY WILL NOT BE OPEN FOR BUSINESS DURING THE GROUP SESSION.
