The Library will be closed on Monday, February 20, 2012 in celebration of President's Day. The Library will re-open at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 21st.

Come out and see what the Riverdale Commissions are all about! Learn more about how you can help your community and other residents! Learn about vacancies and opportunities on the various Commissions! Drop off a resume and letter of interest in order to be considered for vacancies!
Representatives will be available from the following Commissions: Housing Authority, Quality of Life Commission, Fire and Police Commission, Tree Commission, and Zoning Board on Saturday, March 10, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Riverdale Resource Center located at 13725 S. Wabash in Riverdale.

The Greater Chicago Food Depository's Producemobile is coming to Riverdale. 2012 Distributions will be held every Fourth Wednesday starting February 22, March 28, April 25, May 23, and on Wednesdays June 26, and July 24th from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. The location will be at Shekinah Chapel located at 13800 S. Wabash Avenue in Riverdale.
Please note that dates may change due to special occasions, holidays, or emergencies and ending time may vary based on food allocations.
