REAL TALK/HOMEWORK HELP AT NEW NAME M.B. CHURCH
REAL TALK DISCUSSION GROUP
The New Name M.B. Church will be hosting a Real Talk, Real Answers Discussion Group for ages 12-18. The Real Talk Discussion Group consist of young adults who have experience many of the topics that are effective the youth today. They will help answer some of the questions youth have such as "Why should I go to school when I can just get a job?", "How do I get him to like me?" and "Why work at McDonald's when I can make money in the streets?". The Discussion Group will meet every Thursday starting April 22, 2010 from 5:15pm - 6:30pm at the church located at 601 W. 144th Street in Riverdale.
HELP WITH HOMEWORK AND ACADEMIC ENRICHMENT
Help will be available from 3:30pm - 5:00pm at the church.
Parents can call the church at 708-217-2742 to register their children.

RIVERDALE'S ANNUAL SPRING CLEANUP DAY.
The Village of Riverdale in cooperation with Tri-State Disposal Inc. will sponsor Riverdale's Annual Spring Cleanup Day on Saturday, April 24, 2010. Pick up hours are from 6:00AM to 12:00PM. ITEMS MUST BE PLACED IN THE SAME AREA TRI-STATE PICKS UP YOUR WEEKLY GARBAGE. Items should not be placed outside before Friday, April 23, 2010.
Items that WILL BE ACCEPTED for pick up are: furniture, clothing, bicycles, other unwanted household items, white goods such as refrigerators (doors must be removed), stoves, washers and dryers. Items that will NOT BE ACCEPTED for pickup are: tires, batteries, construction materials, and hazardous waste materials (i.e. used oil, paint or chemicals).
THE TRUCKS WILL ONLY MAKE ONE TRIP. Have all unwanted items in your pickup area by 6:00am Saturday.
