MOTHER/DAUGHTER LUNCHEON
The Ivanhoe Community United Methodist Church will be having their 7th Annual Mother/Daughter Luncheon to be held on Saturday, May 26, 2009 at 11:30am. Cost for this event is $25.00 for adults and $12.50 for Children (under 12). The event will be held at the church located at 14500 S. Clark Street in Riverdale.

CELEBRATE ARBOR DAY

LIBRARY CLOSED FOR EASTER.
The Riverdale Library will be closed on Friday, April 10th and Saturday, April 11th in observance of Easter. We will resume our normal business hours on Monday, April 13th.

TURNING CHOICES INTO CHANGE...PREVENTING CHILD ABUSE TOGETHER!
In recognition of Child Abuse Prevention Month, The Riverdale Community Resource Center will present Turning Choices Into Change...Preventing Child Abuse Together! The program will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at the District 133 Annex located at 150 W. 137th Street in Riverdale at 11:00a.m. The Presenter will be Mrs. Myrna Watkins-Thompson (Director, Youth & Community Services) from the Resource Center. The Ivanhoe Park of Riverdale will be sponsoring a Roller Skating Trip at Glenwood Roller Rink on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 for boys and girls ages 6 - 16 from 11:30am to 3:30pm. We will depart from the Rec. Center located at 137th & Eggleston at 11:30 and return at 3:30. Cost is $10.00 per person which includes bus fare, admission, skate rental, a hot dog, chips and a pop.
