LIBRARY CLOSED FOR THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY
The library will be closed on Thursday, November 22nd and Friday, November 23rd for Thanksgiving. The library will resume its regular hours on Saturday.

HOLIDAY HELPERS NEEDED
UCAN (Ulrich Children's Advantage Network) is looking for volunteers to assist with party set-up, clean-up, activities, and distribution of food and gifts for their Transitional Teen Services Holiday Party on December 19th in Riverdale. If you are willing to volunteer your time, please contact Phyllis T. Lofton, Volunteer Coordinator at 773-429-9367 or email her at loftonp@ucanchicago.org.

RENEWABLE ENERGY EXPO
On Saturday, November 17, Robbins Community Power will host a Renewable Energy Expo from 10:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. at their facility located at 13400 S. Kedzie Ave. in Robbins.
The Expo is free and open to the public. The expo will focus on what they intend to do at the facility in an environmentally friendly way.
The Expo will feature a variety of educational booths, presentations, demonstrations, food, children's activities and more. Guests will have an opportunity to learn about their innovative process of turning clean wood chips into steam and ultimately, electricity.
