QUILTING CLASSES AT THE RIVERDALE PUBLIC LIBRARY
Laurel Schaap of Creative Endeavors will be teaching a Fused Floral Wall-Hanging quilting class on Thursday, April 12, 19, 26 & May 3 from 6 - 8 pm. A sample is available at the Library.
Registration begins at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, March 20, 2007 and is on a first come first served basis. Class size is limited to 15 people. You may register in person or by mail. (Sorry, we will not take registrations over the phone). Last day to register is April 5th.
There is a $25.00 non-refundable charge at the time of registration. Payment can be made with cash, money order or Visa/MasterCard. The Library does not accept personal checks. Please do not send cash through the mail.
The Library will be paying the instructor's fees. You will be responsible for the non-refundable registration fee & your own supplies (materials, threads, needles, templates, etc.). Laurel has put together a kit for this project. The material we will be using is batik. If you choose to use your own batik fabric, you will receive a list of supplies that you will need for the class. If you miss a class, we will provide written instructions for you.
Please make arrangements to leave children at home. The Library is closed during class time and will not have accommodations for them. You will need access to a sewing machine for this class. You do not need to bring it to class as some work can be done at home. If you have any questions, you can call the Library, Monday-Friday at 708-841-3311.

VILLAGE TO CONDUCT LANDLORD & TENANT COMMUNITY MEETING
The Village of Riverdale will conduct a Landlord & Tenant Special Community Meeting to be held on Wednesday, March 21st, 2007 at 6:30pm at the Ivanhoe Park District Community Center located at 14401 S. Stewart Ave. in Riverdale.
Topics will include Crime Prevention, Safety, & Quality of Life Issues.
