State Representative Will Davis will be hosting a Community Shred Day,Electronic Recycling and Prescription Drug Take Back Event on Saturday, June 18, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to Noon. The location will be at Rep. Will Davis' District Office located at 1912 W. 174th Street in East Hazel Crest (between Dixie Highway and Wood Street). Free. Residential only. Safer. Onsite shredding . Collection until the trucks are full. Items that will not be accepted for recycling are: car batteries, appliances or tubed computer Monitors (CRT), and Toner Cartridges. No hypodermic needles or liquid medicines.

The Riverdale Park will be hosting a 6 week Tennis Camp in partnership with @XS Tennis & @THEACEPROJECT. The camp is for beginners and advanced-beginners and will be taught by XS Tennis instructors. The dates are June 10-July 17, 2019 (Monday & Wednesday) from 5:30-6:30 pm OR 6:30-7:30 pm for Adult and children (8+ years old). It will be held at 14322 S. Ivanhoe Drive, Riverdale, IL 60827.

Congresswoman
Robin Kelly will host a Youth Job Expo for young men and
women between the ages of 16 and 23 on
Saturday, April 13, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, in the Media Center of Rich South
High School, 5000 Sauk Trail, Richton Park.
More than 50 employers will be accepting
applications for active job openings, summer internships and apprenticeships.
Representatives from various agencies and youth services will also be on hand
to talk with young people about program offerings that will help them succeed. Business
attire is highly recommended. Bring resumes with you, as some employers may conduct
interviews on-site. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. Parking is available
outside the school’s auditorium, just off Sauk Trail on the north end of the
West Lot.
Prior to the Expo, Rep. Kelly is
sponsoring a Job Readiness Workshop to help young people enhance their
interview skills, build their resumes, and more. The workshop takes place
Thursday, April 3, at 4 p.m., at Rich South High School. For questions about the
