LIBRARY WILL BE CLOSED WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 30, 2009
The Library will be upgrading our computer network on Sept. 30, 2009. The library will be closed to allow the installation of equipment, software and staff training. The library will reopen for business on Thursday, October 1st at 10:00am.

RIVERDALE GIRL SCOUTS' OPEN HOUSE
On Friday, September 18, 2009, the Girl Scouts will be hosing an Open House at Park School located at 14200 Wentworth in Riverdale between 6:30pm - 8:00pm. Please take a few minutes to stop by and bring your daughter(s) (K-12th grade) and learn about the fun and positive things that Girl Scouts are doing.
Learn about: the Girl Scout program, adult volunteer opportunities, troop meetings, and how to register. Can't make it but still interested in Girl Scouting, call the Homewood Regional Service Center at 708-957-8100 or contact us directly at riverdalegirlscouts@yahoo.com.

Ivanhoe United Methodist Church's BBQ On The Lawn II
The Ivanhoe United Methodist Men are sponsoring their a BBQ On The Lawn on Saturday,
August 29, 2009 from Noon - 6pm. Adults $10.00 Youth Under 11 $5.50. Food items available will include BBQ Ribs & Rib Tips, Chicken Wings, Hot Links, Beef Hot Dogs, Pop, Water, and Popcorn.
