IVANHOE METHODIST CHURCH PRESENTS "JOURNEY".
The Ivanhoe Methodist Church hosts a girls meeting group called Journey. This group meets at the church located at 145th & Clark in Riverdale. Girls ages 12 - 20 are welcome to join. Meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month at 10am.

VILLAGE OF RIVERDALE ALLEY CLEANUP DAY
Help keep our village clean. The Village will be passing out biodegradable garbage bags starting Monday, June 22nd through Friday, June 26th at the Village Hall to be used to clean up the alley's in the village. Residents are encouraged to pick up trash, weeds, cut grass in and around their alleys. There will be no bulk pick-up available. Yard waste only may be placed in biodegradable bags in the alley for regular trash pick-up.

THORNTON TOWNSHIP'S CARDIO DANCE PARTY FUNDRAISER
The Thornton Township will host a fundraiser to benefit the Hunger Walk 2009 - Greater Chicago Food Depository and the Thornton Township Food Assistance Program. The fundraiser will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 pm. at the Thornton Township Hall 333 East 162nd Street in South Holland, Illinois (Lower Level). Live DJ, Raffle Prizes, Food and Fun for all ages. Come dressed from the 70's. The best outfit will receive a prize.
